Mashina Nightclub Christchurch Casino

Mashina Nighclub is the latest live, multimillion- dollar, venue in the nightclub scene in Christchurch. Developed from a converted underground car park beneath the Christchurch Casino the nightclub can quickly be converted to operate as a private space.

The club name "Mashina" is Russian, means car or machine, and the club provided a real lighting challenge in that it has to double as a nighclub and a Banquette room with the atmosphere or ambience being able to be changed at the flick of a switch. There is also special lighting for the dancing area.

This was the first nighclub project I've worked on and was a throughly enjoyable experience.
