AJ Hackett Bungy - Queenstown

I was engaged to design the lighting for the inside of the AJ Hackett Kawarau Bridge Bungy site in Queenstown. This is a multi-use space that includes the day to day business operation and doubles as a function venue. This was a great opportunity to create a lighting environment to serve both needs.

The day to day operations required a warm and welcoming feeling while in the evening the space needed to have the wow factor. The design needed a fitting and a lamp that would satisfy both requirements.

The design uses an RGBW fitting giving the flexibility of having 3000K for the day to day operations and a variety of RGBW settings for functions and special events.

The exterior bus shelter was the start and the finish of the experience, giving a warm welcoming feeling on arrival and when leaving contributed to having had a wonderful satisfying experience. The colour temperature and use of the correct RBGW colour mixes is critical to the look, feel and success of spaces such as AJ Hackett Bungy Queenstown.
